The Moroccan style is to bring nature inside. Moroccan furniture can include wood, and lush exotic plants help to create a luxurious oasis atmosphere. Moroccan vases, urns, and other artwork are combined with fountains which contain flowing water and the aromas of spices to create a serene yet exciting setting right in your home.
Asian Decor; The Asian style of home decorating incorporates design elements from Japan, China, Thailand, and Indonesia. Using any one influence could suffice although combining different design traditions creates a richer texture. The colors red, black, and gold are typically used. Asian decor often includes depictions of the Buddha and of the indomitable Asian dragon.
For living room, when you are buying furniture buy what will work with the space you have and your basic needs. Don't worry about the top name brands in home furnishing, you can purchase a perfect sofa, bed frame, table and chairs, or a dresser at a thrift store for nearly nothing if you keep watching for when the new stuff arrives. Then you can buy some fabric on clearance and go to town redecorating your furniture to match your personal style.
If you find the clean, classic look of simple white towels too boring, then use them to create your own "custom" towels. Cut long strips from colorful sheet - florals are especially nice - and sew the strips along the bottom of towels for a custom look. If you're really ambitious you can add eyelet trim to the custom strips, creating your own country cottage look.
