Egyptian Decor; Egyptian home decor incorporates the bold designs, intricate patterns, and ornate sculptures from Egyptian antiquities. Rich colors such as gold, bronze and turquoise dominate the Egyptian palette. Depending on your budget, Egyptian decor can consist of antiques or faithful reproductions. Statues and sculptures of Egyptian deities are common. Egyptian style candle holders, urns, vases, mirrors and other home accent pieces are quite striking.
When you are finished no one will ever know how little you paid! To add more value to a furniture, you can add some luxury cabinet knobs and bail pulls. These decorative cabinet hardware is a cool way to add more value to any existing furniture drawers etc. You can further brighten up a room with inexpensive curtains in vibrant colors and matching candles.
Foliage Don't forget to incorporate foliage in your Tuscan decor. Foliage can be live or silk plants, trees and flowers. Create groupings of foliage, ceramic and metal accessories for a natural, warm and inviting look. There are no hard and fast rules or boundaries in Tuscan decorating. It can be inspired by a country farmhouse or a grand villa; both within the same space.
Photos and Frames: There's something so intriguing about black and white photos, especially when hung in interesting frames. Whether the photos are family heirlooms or something picked up from a garage sale, use them to great effect in any decor. In addition, frames are a standard accessory that can be picked up for a song at many thrift shops, secondhand stores and yard sales.
