If you find the clean, classic look of simple white towels too boring, then use them to create your own "custom" towels. Cut long strips from colorful sheet - florals are especially nice - and sew the strips along the bottom of towels for a custom look. If you're really ambitious you can add eyelet trim to the custom strips, creating your own country cottage look.
These days it is even popular to use urns that resemble the ones used from hundreds of years ago. Now these are new of course but the style is the same. It seems like a nice way to honor your loved one to find the best urn for them if they have chosen to be cremated and you have decided to keep their ashes rather than scatter them. Also keep in mind just because you have your loved one cremated does not mean that you can't have a funeral. You absolutely can still have a funeral. Just speak with the funeral home of your choice and they will be happy to assist you with your funeral needs.
